Ryan Gosling Finally Ate His Cereal And You Will Cry Gosling makes Vine tribute for fan

As if Ryan Gosling couldn’t get any more perfect, he goes and makes a tribute Vine for a fan who died of Cancer, but let’s backtrack.

Back in May 2013, a Vine user named Ryan McHenry gained national attention from a stream of Vine videos he created titled, “Ryan Gosling Won’t Eat His Cereal.” In the videos, clips of Ryan Gosling in some of his films, like “Blue Valentine” and “Crazy, Stupid, Love,” were mashed up with McHenry attempting to spoon feed him some cereal but he refused. Naturally, the hilarious Vines went viral.

Sadly over the weekend Ryan McHenry died after a long battle with bone cancer. Once Gosling caught wind of the news, he created a Vine account and uploaded a video of himself preparing a bowl of cereal and eating it. Along with sharing the video to his Twitter page he tweeted, “My heart goes out to all of Ryan McHenry’s family and friends. Feel very lucky to have been apart of his life in some small way.”

In the peak of the McHenry’s Vine success he told The Verge, “As a filmmaker, I like to have a conclusion to things. The only conclusion I can see out of this whole thing is to have Ryan Gosling respond to this. Even if it’s just him eating cereal.”
