Sean “Diddy” Combs is the definition of an entrepreneur who can successful migrate through multiple fields of business and come out on top of them all. Back in the day, when he was changing his name as often as we change clothes, Sean Combs was making hit records on Bad Boy and discovering talent that also topped music charts.

Later down the road in his career, Combs has successfully launched the now CFDA award-winning clothing line Sean John, his Revolt TV network, the popular vodka brand Cîroc, and now he’s venturing into the beauty world with his fragrance 3AM.

In the first ad for 3AM, exclusively revealed by Style.com, Diddy acts alongside his girlfriend Cassie Ventura in a very sexy commercial where they play a couple coming home from some fancy event, are mid argument and who are basically having sex, I’m presuming at 3 in the morning. Diddy talks about the new ad, his fragrance, and more with Style.com in an exclusive interview.

“The concept for the video represents one of the things that 3 a.m. is for me. It’s a very one-on-one time,” Combs said about the video. “It’s a time to have fun and push the envelope a little bit. It’s definitely an hour where you would find yourself with a young lady. Anything can happen at 3 a.m., and in the video, you see a fantasy that’s in my head of what happened that night.”

The simulated sex in the video leaves very little to the imagination but Diddy thinks you can see beauty in the steamy video. “I think if people hear about the video, they’re going to hear that it’s racy and provocative, but I also think they’re going to hear people say that it’s beautiful. That whole interaction has nothing to do with sex as much as it has to do with love. My concept is that love is the new sexy.”

Sean Combs’ new fragrance is a unisex scent that he was very involved with creating. “First of all, I want [people] to like the design of the bottle, but just like with any fragrance, I want somebody to stop you in the elevator and ask you what you’re wearing. No matter what the fragrance is called, that’s my objective.” He also wants those who wear it to get one important thing, “And I want a lot of people to get laid to it!”

If you want to smell like Diddy you can purchase 3AM by Sean John for $55, available on macys.com starting Wednesday, May 6. The 45-year-old mogul will also be making a special appearance at the Herald Square Macy’s in New York City that day.
