Sofia Vergara and Reese Witherspoon Stop By ‘Ellen’ And Talk New Movie – Vergara Talks Engagement

Sofia Vergara and Reese Witherspoon stopped by The Ellen Show to promote their May 8th comedy film and talked antics on the set, along with Vergaga gushing a bit about her engagement to “Magic Mike XXL” actor Joe Manganiello.

The “Hot Pursuit” co-stars revealed a rather serious accident that happened while on set. “I thought my appendix had burst,” Witherspoon told Ellen DeGeneres with a laugh as Vergara explained the situation.

During a scene Vergara’s character had to push Witherspoon’s and she insisted that Vergara push harder, she obliged, and there was some “internal bleeding.” “I popped her ovary,” Vergara joked.

The ladies also discussed a baking competition that happened on set between them and Reese’s horrible Spanish accent. After looking at Vergara’s gorgeous 2015 May Vanity Fair spread, the Modern Family spoke briefly about wedding plans with Manganiello. Although they are both very busy, they’re still planning for this year.

Later, Ellen showed a clip from her “sitcom” called The Three Sofias where Vergara, Witherspooon and DeGeneres all play women named Sofia with thick Spanish accents.
