MTV Movie Awards 2015 – The Winners, The OMG Moments and More

The 2015 MTV Movies awards was just as outrageous, unpredictable, and comical as always with the network broadcasting its 24th year of most-talked about antics.

Hosted by “Trainwreck” actress Amy Schumer, the 2015 MTV Movie Awards aired live Sunday, April 12 from Los Angeles at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live and gave fan voted awards away in such categories like: Best Shirtless Performance, Best Scared-As-S**t Performance, Best Villain, Best Musical Moment, and the always anticipated Best Kiss award.

Along with golden popcorn’s being handed out, there were three special awards given out. Kevin Hart received the Comedic Genius Award and thanked his fiancé, Eniko Parrish, his ex-wife, Torrei Hart, and his two children daughter Heaven and son Hendrix. During his speech he said, “At the end of the day, you all wonder why I work so hard. My kids are with me because I do it all for them, and I’m trying to leave a legacy behind so when it’s all said and done, the last name Hart means something.”

The “Fault in Our Stars” actress Shailene Woodley took home the fourth MTV Trailblazer Award. Previous winners are: Emma Stone, Emma Watson and Channing Tatum. During her speech she thanked all the “pillars” who helped her reach success and encouraged the audience to be pillars to others.

Later, “The Avengers” stars Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, and Mark Ruffalo presented their co-star Robert Downey, Jr. with the MTV Genius Award on bended knee. After, they revealed a 90-second clip from the upcoming “Avengers: Age of Ultron” film.

Some of the OMG moments of the night included: host Amy Schumer and Amber Rose making out on the kiss cam, Charli XCX, Tinashe, and Ty Dolla $ign “Drop That Kitty” performance, “Pitch Perfect 2” actress Rebel Wilson as a Victoria’s Secret Angel, and Zac Efron and Dave Franco grabbing each other’s crotch.
