QOTD: Are Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs Really Engaged?

This is not a drill, this is not an April Fools, and this is not news that I was expecting to hear anytime soon but, my beloved Robert Pattinson is reportedly engaged to his girlfriend FKA Twigs.

The “Twilight” actor, 28, and the “Pendulum” singer, 27, real name Tahliah Barnett, have only been dating for six months and already they are ready to commit for life. I tell you, in Hollywood these people move on fast!

The engagements news broke on April Fools Day leading people to believe it was a joke. Rapper-Producer T-Pain spilled the beans in an interview with Vulture when he revealed that his working with Twigs on his new album might not happen. He said, “Well, the first time we even met each other, we met in the studio. Her music’s changed a lot since then. But she’s on tour so much, and anytime I call her, she’s in a different place. And she’s engaged now, so that’s about to be a whole other thing.”

To clarify just to who she was engaged to, he added with a laugh, “Yeah, to ol’ Patty [Robert Pattinson]. I don’t know if she wanted anybody to know that.” Later T-Pain claimed it was a joke. Yeah.

PEOPLE has since “confirmed” the news from multiple sources. It’s highly unlikely that Pattinson or Twigs would confirm the news themselves, so I won’t believe anything until I see a ring.
