Karrueche Tran Has Exclusive Interview With Iyanla Vanzant – Discusses Relationship With Chris Brown

The exclusive interview with Iyanla Vanzant and aspiring model-actress, and ex-girlfriend of Chris Brown, Karrueche Tran aired over the weekend on OWN with much of the conversation about the up and down relationship between Tran and Brown.

To clear things up, this was not an episode of Vanzant’s popular OWN series Iyanla: Fix My Life, where she serves as a motivational coach and guiding factor in resolving some of the problem areas in someone’s life. This interview was a sit down for Tran to share a side of herself that isn’t portrayed in the media.

Karrueche Tran spoke openly about her relationship with Chris Brown sharing how the two met and what made her fall in love with him. Later, she was candid about knowing Brown was messing around with his ex-girlfriend, “Home” actress and singer Rihanna. Tran even talked about finding out CB allegedly fathered a child via social media, and how he has tried to make amends for that.

Throughout the interview I felt Karrueche was a bit uncomfortable, or should I say nonchalant with Iyanla Vanzant’s line of questioning. I guess this was supposed to be an “in your face” type of interview but asking when you first slept with someone seems a little intrusive to me. And yes Iyanla did ask Karrueche that.

After watching this interview, Karrueche Tran is no different from the rest of us girls who do foolish things because we’re in love with a man. It’s just unfortunate that her ex is famous and so is his ex, adding social media to the mix; that’s just a recipe for disaster. I didn’t like Karrueche more or less after this, I don’t know what’s really going on or what went on with her and CB, so who am I to judge.
