Kelly Rowland Covers April Essence With Her Son and Husband – Talks Motherhood In The Issue

Kelly Rowland is glowing and all smiles as she covers the April issue of Essence magazine alongside her husband Tim Witherspoon as she debuts and holds her son Titan Jewell Witherspoon. In the issue, Rowland talks being a mother and wife, balancing her career, and her road to happiness.

“My road to my happiness hasn’t been an easy one. It hasn’t been peachy all the time, but I am so, so happy,” Rowland said in her interview with the mag.

She also talks about remaining positive despite suddenly losing her mother, getting married and giving birth in the same year. How did she do it? By being “surrounded with so much love” and being around her late mother’s best friends and Beyoncé and Solange‘s family.

Throughout it all Rowland is all about her family sharing, “My priority is my husband first,” jokingly adding, “That’s how the baby got there.”

The April issue of Essence with Kelly Rowland on the cover will be on newsstands March 20.
