Former True Blood actor Gregg Daniel has landed an exciting new role in the upcoming feature film “Jerico” written by Brandon Lewis and directed by Seckeita Lewis.
“Jerico” is a dramatic comedy about two best friends Jerico Walker (Brandon Lewis) and Jarvis Cook (Anthony Fort) who witness a horrific tragedy done by Daniel’s character as children in rural Mississippi during the era of Jim Crow laws.
Daniel plays Thomas Cook, Sr, a “hardworking father who struggles to raise his family while he experiences the harness of a life lived under racism.” The film follows Walker and Cook as adults as they navigate through life during a trying time in American history.
“Jerico” has a 2016 release date in place. CONGRATS Gregg Daniel on the new role. We’ll be waiting for the first look at the film.
