ATL 2 Is Happening – Take A Peek At The First Look [PHOTO]

I don’t know who asked for it, but it’s happening anyway. A sequel to the 2006 film “ATL” starring rapper T.I., real name Clifford ‘Tip’ Harris, is in the works and we’re already getting sneak peeks at production.

Wednesday on Instagram, the “No Mediocre” rapper officially announced “ATL 2” with a photo of Jackie Long, Jason Weaver and Albert Daniels (Esquire, Teddy, and Brooklyn) along with director Chris Robinson in a restaurant bench captioned, “#ATL2 Get Ready.” 

Later, T.I. posted an image with his on-screen love interest from the film Lauren London (New New) with the caption, “Shad&New-New #ATL2 #KeepWatching.” [SEE BELOW]

No word on the exact plot for the sequel of if any other prominent cast members from the film will rejoin the cast. We’ll have to keep our eyes on Instagram to stay updated.
