Mirjana Puhar, a contestant on America’s Next Top Model cycle 21 eliminated in the 10th episode, was found dead Tuesday in a triple homicide in North Carolina. She was 19.
Puhar, along with her 23-year-old boyfriend Jonathan Alvarado, and Jusmar Gonzaga-Garcia, the couple’s 21-year-old friend, were found Tuesday, February 24 by an unidentified friend whom went to the residence owned by Alvarado following receiving a phone call that gunshots were heard.
At the Charlotte, North Carolina home, the friend found the bodies of Alvarado and Puhar with money scattered around and he called the police. 19-year-old Emmanuel Jesus Rangel has been arrested and charged with 3 counts of 1st degree murder. The horrific murders reportedly could be drug-related and the slain victims knew their killer.
Chantelle Winnie, Puhar’s fellow ANTM contestant, shared thoughts on her friend following her death on Instagram. She posted a photo of the two of them captioned, “I’m so grateful for the time God gave me with you on this earth. Our bond was immediate. Two strong Leo’s born on the same day we walked around with arms linked, cracking jokes every time we got.”
She ended with, “I love you sister never take your crown off. @Mirjanapuhar Rest In Paradise Queen.” [SEE BELOW]
