Rihanna is a golden goddess on the 2015 March cover of Harper’s Bazaar

Dressed in Balmain and shot by Norman Jean Roy, Rihanna goes down under, the sea that is, and poses in a beautiful aquatic wonderful for her spread and talks swimming with sharks, being fearless, fashion and more in her interview.

“I try my best to avoid the sharks of life, but I have had my share of experiences with them, and in those cases I just have to handle them accordingly,” Rihanna said about the metaphor of swimming with sharks in reality. She added, “But I do not swim with sharks … sharks swim with sharks.”

Rihanna is known for her IDGAF/fearless attitude in a variety of ways but there are some things she does fear. She told Harper’s, “I think I’m like most people—we fear the unknown and the things that have yet to come to pass, which are the very things that don’t deserve to be feared. When you give God complete control, it’s very hard not to be fearless.”

When asked about her favorite red carpet moments, four outfits came to mind for Rihanna. She revealed, “My favorite red-carpet looks are usually the ones I get to help design: the Adam Selman Swarovski crystal dress at the CFDAs, the Stella McCartney all-white dress at the Met Gala, and the Adam Selman white jersey dress from the VMAs. But the red Azzedine Alaïa at the Grammys is also one of my favorites.”

And if you want to know what makes a “BadGal” in 2015? Badgalriri simply answered “You’re about to find out.”
