If you don’t know, Instagram is very strict when it comes to their terms and policies, just ask Rihanna, but you won’t be able to tell with the amount of NSFW photos that appear on the photo sharing app at any given time.

Comedienne Chelsea Handler is daring to challenge Instagram against its policies by sharing very intimate photos of herself. But if you follow Handler on social media or have ever watched the 39-year-old perform stand up or do interviews you know she has no filter and is very open about sharing parts of her body.

A few weeks ago, Chelsea Handler uploading an image of herself topless riding a horse next to Vladimir Putin, also without a shirt riding a horse, and Instagram didn’t take well to that. They blocked her and sent her a notification which Handler shared with her Instagram followers with the caption, “If a man posts a photo of his nipples, it’s ok, but not a woman? Are we in 1825?” [SEE BELOW]

Fast forward to present day, Kim Kardashian West‘s Paper magazine spread, where she’s fully nude, has taken over the internet with no type of repercussions to date. Handler has poked fun of the spread by posting a butt selfie of herself compared to Kim’s cover with the caption, “Can you believe more than 2 ass can fit on the same screen? Guess which one’s real. Your move, instagram.” More recently she posted a photo of herself with her underwear pulled down under a black dress posting, “Don’t worry, I would never show my peekachu, 1)because I have a familly, and 2)oh yeah…TALENT. Thanks for making the rules clear, instagram.” [SEE BELOW]

I think Chelsea has a point though, what aspect of nudity is OK to share on Instagram? Nipples, butt cracks and even vaginas are good to share as long as it’s for a magazine? But when Rihanna did that she got booted from Instagram for six months! Is it OK just for certain celebrities? I’m not trying to pick on anyone I’m just stating facts on what I’ve noticed happen online.

But don’t let me be the only one voicing my opinion, tell me your take on Instagram’s terms and policies when it comes to celebrities posting partially nude/nude photos of themselves in the comments.
