Viral Video: ‘JKL’ Basketball Book Club Reads Nicholas Sparks’ ‘Best Of Me’ [VIDEO]

Nicholas Sparks novels are often thought to be strictly for women based off the very romantic nature of the books but Jimmy Kimmel proved that’s not true.

On Jimmy Kimmel Live, Kimmel introduced his “Basketball Book Club” where athletes Matt Barnes, Chandler Parsons, Blake Griffin and Iman Shumpert discussed Sparks’ novel turned film “Best Of Me,” starring James Marsden and Michelle Monaghan out this Friday.

Griffin served as the book club leader asking the gentlemen dressed sensibly in sweaters did they cry while reading the book. The boys later disagreed on one of the central themes of the book leading Nicholas Sparks himself to make an appearance and explain. It was pretty comical.
