Just Married: Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross Tie The Knot

Labor Day weekend this year has turned into wedding day weekend. Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross are officially joined as a union.

The Simpson and Ross wedding took place on the last day of August in Connecticut at the estate of Diana Ross, Evan Ross’ mother.

Simpson’s sister Jessica Simpson was in attendance and served as maid of honor. Ross’ half sister Tracee Ellis Ross was also at Sunday’s wedding as emcee during the celebration.

Ashlee Simpson’s son Bronx, from her previous marriage to Pete Wentz, walked the 29-year-old down the aisle, with Jessica’s children Maxwell and Ace as flower girl and ring bearer. Diana Ross reportedly sung at the event.

The 26-year-old “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay” actor and “Pieces of Me” singer began dating last summer and got engaged in January.
