Jimmy Kimmel Performs ‘Friends’ Fan Fiction With Rachel, Monica and Phoebe on JKL [VIDEO]

Jimmy Kimmel always has a way of giving me what I need without realizing it until it happens. Case in point, a mini Friends reunion on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

During an interview with Jennifer Aniston, Kimmel revealed he wrote some fan fiction about the popular series including himself as Ross, the character made famous by David Schwimmer. He then asked if Aniston would perform the scene on a set that was identical to Monica’s kitchen in her New York City apartment.

Later, Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow joined the scene as their characters Monica and Phoebe to rave about “Ross'” epic love-making. They also recited lyrics from “I’ll Be There For You,” by The Rembrandts aka the Friends theme song.

In other Friends news, a Central Perk pop up shop has been announced to open in New York. On September 17, the temporary coffee shop that was a popular hangout for the Friends crew will have weekly performances and a special appearance by James Michael Tyler, who played the coffee shop manager Gunther.
