First Look: ‘American Horror Story’: Freak Show Cast Art [PHOTO]

The summer is wrapping up and that means it’s almost time for fall television season; and one of those shows in particular is FX’s American Horror Story. 

The fourth season of the anthology series will follow the theme of a freak show starring Jessica Lange as Elsa Mars, “a German expat managing one of the last remaining freak shows in the country.” Season past favorites: Evan Peters, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Frances Conroy and Sarah Paulson are all returning.

The first poster for AHS: Freak Show features the cast in character [SEE ENLARGED BELOW] with Miss Lange serving it up front and center.

Special guests stars this season include: Pattie LaBelle, Matt Bomer, Wes Bentley, John Carroll Lynch, and Finn Wittrock.

American Horror Story: Freak Show premieres Wednesday, October 8 on FX.
