Chelsea Lately is no more. *tear* After seven years on the air at E!, Chelsea Handler is leaving her late night talk show behind and taking her talents over to Netflik.
In an hour-long special live show, Handler had a retrospective episode where all her round table panelist and major celebrities dropped by to wish the 39-year-old well as she ended one chapter in her career and geared up to start another.
Chelsea Handler pals Sandra Bullock, Jennifer Aniston and Mary McCormack gave a segment long intervention for Handler. Musical guests 50 Cent, Handler’s ex, with G Unit and Miley Cyrus performed. To end the show, a special song with a celebrity chorus performed a tune about Chelsea leaving to the music of “We Are The World.”
The star-studded song included: Gwen Stefani, Fergie, Selena Gomez, Gerard Butler, Vanessa Hudgens, Kate Beckinsale, Avril Lavigne, Alanis Morrissette, LeAnn Rimes, Naya Rivera, Tim Allen, Melissa McCarthy, Josh Gad, Tim Gunn, Marlee Matlin, Loni Love and so many more!
Ending the song, Chelsea thanked all those who worked on her show, those who came to her send off, and proudly boasted about her Netflik talk show.
Glad it’s not goodbye forever Chels! See you on Netflik’s.
