Iconic radio host Casey Kasem has died at age 82.
The famed host suffered from Lewy Body Disease and had bad health for years. Last week, Kasem was court ordered off life support and died early Father’s Day.
On Facebook and Twitter, Kasem’s daughter Kerri Kasem shared a vintage photo of herself with her dad with the caption, “Early this Father’s Day morning, our dad Casey Kasem passed away surrounded by family and friends. Even though we know he is in a better place and no longer suffering, we are heartbroken. Thank you for all your love, support and prayers. The world will miss Casey Kasem, an incredible talent and humanitarian; we will miss our Dad.

Casey Kasem’s stellar career in radio was best known for being the host of “American Top 40,” he also voice the character Shaggy in the Scooby Doo series for decades.
RIP Casey Kasem. My prayers are with his loved ones.
