Prayers Up: Actor/Comedian Tracy Morgan In Critical Condition Following Six Car Pile Up

Following a serious car crash on the New Jersey Turnpike, actor/comedian Tracy Morgan is in critical condition.

The 30 Rock actor and Saturday Night Live alum was involved in a car accident in which his limousine bus crashed along with six other vehicles, resulting in the death of one person in the crash.

According to The Associated Press, Sgt. First Class Greg Williams said the accident occurred on the turnpike near Cranbury Township at about 1 a.m. on Saturday, June 7. Morgan was later admitted in Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in NJ.

Tracy Morgan’s rep Lewis Kay said in a statement, “Tracy remains in critical condition at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital. He sustained these injuries in an accident that occurred early this morning as one of several passengers in a chauffeured SUV returning from a tour date in Delaware.”

Kay added, “His family is now with him and he is receiving excellent care. We don’t anticipate much of a change in his condition today but will provide a further update once more information becomes available.”
