Channing Tatum Talks Fatherhood, Alcohol and Jonah Hill in ‘GQ’ – Plus Watch Him Steal Clothes [VIDEO]

Channing Tatum talks his “high-functioning” alcoholism, his daughter Everly, a raunchy Jonah Hill bet, and more in the new issue of GQ. 

The “Jupiter Ascending” actor talked about his sweet tooth and despite his chiseled frame he has an “inner fat kid.” “I just love cake,” he explains, Confetti cake, to be specific. It has little colored candies inside the cake, and then you get the confetti icing, which is really hard to find sometimes.”

“The icing, coupled with the actual confetti cake. It’s a beautiful mix,” he adds. “It is an angel sent from heaven.”

I feel you on that Chan Chan especially when he talks about his love for alcohol in GQ. “I probably drink too much,” he reveals. “I’m probably a pretty high-functioning, I guess, you know, I would say, alcoholic.”

So what, or who I should say, made Tatum cut back on the drinking? His daughter with wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum, Everly. He said during the filming of “Magic Mike” the sequel he would completely abstain.

Speaking of sequels, “22 Jump Street” will be in theaters next month so Channing Tatum reflected on the first film, “21 Jump Street,” with the men’s mag and recalled a very raunchy beg. Tatum predicted the film would make $35 million opening weekend while drinking with pal and co-star Jonah Hill leading him to say, “I will kiss your tip! I will kiss the tip of your dick through your underwear if we make $35 million.”

Unfortunately, or luckily I’m not sure, for Hill, “21 Jump Street” made $36,302,612 mil opening weekend. So did Hill settle his debt? “I haven’t made him do it yet,” Tatum says. “For obvious reasons. That’s a bad bet to lose — it’s not too good to win, either. But definitely the shame of it would be enjoyable.”

The 2014 June issue of GQ will be on newsstands May 27.
