Craig Ferguson Announces Departure From ‘Late Late Show’ [VIDEO]

And another late night television host bites the dust. First Leno, then Letterman now Fergie.

After a decade, Craig Ferguson is leaving The Late Late Show at the end of the year although his contracts doesn’t end until 2015.

On Monday, Ferguson told his studio audience that he will be stepping down as the host for the show in December. He continued to say he didn’t know what he would be doing next and joked about taking up carpentry.

He added. “I don’t know what I’m going to do yet but I feel doing this show for 10 years, that’s enough.”

In an official statement Ferguson addressed his departure while poking fun at Gwyneth Paltrow saying, “CBS and I are not getting divorced, we are ‘consciously uncoupling,’ but we will still spend holidays together and share custody of the fake horse and robot skeleton, both of whom we love very much.”

Sorry to see you go Craig Ferguson but good luck on your future endeavors!
