Cover Girl Werk: Lupita Nyong’o Lands ‘People’ Cover As “World’s Most Beautiful Woman”

Lupita Nyong’o has officially had the best year ever!! And it’s only April.

After scoring big during award show season and earning an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress; Nyong’o also landed a gig as the new face of Lancôme, been deemed this year’s most fashionable woman, has been romantically linked to Jared Leto and now she earned the coveted title as People magazine “World’s Most Beautiful Woman.”

The 31-year-old starlet is the cover girl of this year’s “50 Most Beautiful” annual issue and talks about beauty. Growing up, Nyong’o thought having “light skin and flowing, straight hair” made you desirable but at “some point” she finally believed she was beautiful like her mother always told her.

Inside the “50 Most Beautiful” issue: Keri Russell, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, Mindy Kaling, Pink, Amber Heard, Gabrielle Union, Molly Sims, Stacy Keibler and Kerry Washington are all named on the list.

CONGRATS Lupita Nyong’o on landing the cover of People! You definitely seem beautiful inside and out.
