RIP: Fashion Designer L’Wren Scott Found Dead

There is sad news in the fashion industry today. L’Wren Scott, famed fashion designer, was found dead in an apparent suicide on Monday, March 17.

The 47-year-old was found by her assistant in her New York City apartment around 10 a.m. Reports say Scott was discovered hanging by a scarf tied to the doorknob.

A spokesperson for the NYPD said, “EMS responded and found her deceased. An investigation is ongoing and a medical examiner will determine cause of death.” No suicide note was found and those close to Scott are utterly surprised by the news.

Musician Mick Jagger, who was dating L’Wren Scott for more than 10 years, is reportedly “completely shocked and devastated” over the news of Scott’s death.

L’Wren Scott had an extensive career in the fashion industry serving as a model and designer dressing the likes of Nicole Kidman, Angelina Jolie, Sandra Bullock, Amy Adams and Reese Witherspoon.

This is just terrible and sad news. RIP L’Wren Scott. My thoughts and prayers go out to all her loved ones.
