The latest famous couple calling it quits is one that we all saw coming but hoped it wouldn’t happen.

Robin Thicke and Paula Patton revealed to PEOPLE exclusively that they have decided to separate after nine years of marriage.

“We will always love each other and be best friends, however, we have mutually decided to separate at this time,” the couple told the mag.

The 36-year-old “Blurred Lines” singer met the 38-year-old “Baggage Claim” actress when he was 14. The couple married in 2005 and have a soon to be 4-year-old son, Julian Fuego, together.
