We know her from the infamous curls and the classic virgin drink, but Shirley Temple was much more than that to a generation that loved and grew up watching the “black screen darling;” they are mourning her today.
Shirley Temple, one of the most noted children actresses of all time, died Monday night surrounded by loved ones at her Woodside, California home. She was 85.
Miss Temple warmed hearts with song and dance in films like “Curly Top,” “Bright Eyes,” and “Stand Up and Cheer” with songs like her most infamous “On the Good Ship Lollipop.”
Temple stopped acting at 21 but her adorable cherubic face will forever be immortalized in Hollywood.
RIP Shirley Temple.
