Macklemore Sings “Same Love” At Grammys With Madonna – 33 Couples Wed By Queen Latifah [VIDEO]

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis made history at the 2014 Grammy awards that aired Sunday, January 26.

The rapping and producing duo took home several awards that evening but their performance of marriage equality anthem “Same Love” was one of the most talked about performances of the night.

The track was performed as usual with Mary Lambert soulful vocals until Queen Latifah came on stage to officiate 33 couples tying the knot, including same-sex and interracial relationships. Madonna then joined the performance and sung her classic “Open Your Heart” with a mix of “Same Love.”

There were many tears during this performance and plenty smiling faces.
