Fans of, mostly British, boy band The Wanted are in mourning over the news that their beloved band broke up.

Now before you start to ridicule or poke fun at the girls who you think are overreacting, just imagine that time one of the things you loved so much was no more.

I was completely devastated when B2K broke up around 2003, 2004. Like crying inches away from the TV as Omarion explained why the group split ways on 106 & Park. It’s the worst feeling so The Wanted fans I know what you’re going through.

Now back to The Wanted, an official statement was released on Wednesday, January 22, on their website stating:

“The Wanted are pleased to announce the release of their new video and single ‘Glow In The Dark’ taken from their November release ‘Word of Mouth’. They are very excited to perform ‘Glow In The Dark’ along with their smash singles ‘I Found You’, ‘Chasing The Sun’, and ‘Glad You Came’, amongst others for their fans on their upcoming Word of Mouth Tour.”

“This tour will be their last for a while as Tom, Max, Jay, Siva and Nathan have collectively decided to take time to pursue personal endeavors following the tour’s conclusion. The band wants to stress to their fans that they will continue on as The Wanted and look forward to many successful projects together in the future. They thank their fans for their continued love and support and look forward to seeing them on tour.”

So guys maybe they are not over, over, but just on hiatus. Max George, from The Wanted, took to Twitter to address the issue in a stream of posts saying:

Hey guys, so I know the news today was a big thing, but let me tell you this is not the END. It’s the right time for myself and the other boys to have some time to try and achieve other things in our lives and careers. I can’t wait to see everyone who has come to see us on all of our tours in march. And I hope I see you all with me in my own ventures. I love you all very much, and I will say it again, this is NOT the END. #TWFanmilyaFamilyForever xxx.”

Tom Parker also posted on Twitter, “Just want to say…It’s a break, not the end. You can’t get rid of us that easily haha! x.”
