Calling It Quits: Hilary Duff and Husband Mike Comrie Split Up

Another celebrity couple bites the dust, and so early into the new year.

Former Disney star Hilary Duff and hockey player Mike Comrie have agreed to separate after 3 years of marriage.

Gossip Cop got word from Duff’s rep and released a brief statement stating, “Hilary Duff and husband Mike Comrie have mutually decided to an amicable separation.”

The rep continued, “They remain best friends and will continue to be in each other’s lives. They are dedicated to loving and parenting their amazing son, and ask for privacy at this time.”

Duff and Comrie have son together, Luca, whom they welcomed in 2012.

Hilary Duff took to social media to address her current relationship with her now ex husband. On Twitter she posted, “Mike and I are sitting here,we are so appreciative for all of your kindness& well wishes. Not an easy day but we’re getting thru it together.”

Sorry to hear about the news Hilary Duff but at least you and your ex can remain friends since you do share a son.
