You know a movie franchise has officially crossed over into pop culture history when a spoof film is created all based on the premise. Welcome to the family “The Hunger Games,” welcome to the family.

We’ve seen it done to “The Exorcist” with “Scary Movie,” “Save The Last Dance” with “Dance Flick” and “Twilight” with “Vampires Suck.” With the exception of “Scary Movie,” all the spoof films have been pretty bad and I’m sorry to say I think “The Hungover Games” will be another bomb.

“The Hungover Games” is “The Hangover” meets the popular franchise, literally. Bradley (Ross Nathan), Ed (Ben Begley) and Zach (Herbert Russell) head to Vegas to celebrate a bachelor party only to wake up hungover on their way to “The Capital” transported by Effing (Tara Reid) to compete in the games with the likes of Katnip (Rita Volk), a Willy Wonka, Thor, Django and Ted characters.

Jonathan Silverman, Robert Wagner, Bruce Jenner, Jamie Kennedy, Real Housewives Kyle Richards and Brandi Glanville plus Hank Baskett also star in the comedy set to be released some time next year.
