Casting News: Rita Ora Joins “Fifty Shades of Grey” Cast

Is your palm twitching? Well that can mean only one thing; filming for “Fifty Shades of Grey” has officially begun and we’re still getting casting news.

Before we get into the new addition let’s do a general roll call of who has been cast so far. Jamie Dornan is playing Christian Grey, Dakota Johnson is Anastasia Steele, Eloise Mumford is Kate Kavanagh, Ana’s bestie, Luke Grimes is Elliot Grey, Christian’s brother, Victor Rasuk is José Rodriguez, Ana’s male friend who has a thing for her, and drum roll please, Rita Ora is playing Mia Grey!

The British singer-songwriter tweeted her news posting, “It’s official! I’ve been cast in @FiftyShades of Grey as Christian’s sister Mia. #FiftyShades”

The film directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson has started filming in Vancouver with scene 25 [See pic below]. I wonder which one that is. I just hope since this film is getting released sooooo far from now I’ll still care about it when it’s in theaters.

“Fifty Shades of Grey” is slated to be in theaters on February 13, 2015.
