Fashion Forward: Lady Gaga Named the Face of Versace

Lady Gaga is not slowing down in the later half of the year and setting herself up for an amazing 2014.

Gaga’s ARTPOP album reached #1 on the Billboard charts, she had good reviews hosting SNL last weekend and now she’s blowing minds with a flawless campaign for Versace.

The over the top singer was announced as the new face of Versace for the Spring/Summer 2014 campaign. Reps for Versace tweeted, “#Versace proudly confirms @LadyGaga as the face of SS14 campaign shot by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott #VersaceLovesGaga.”

Lady Gaga also shared her excitement over her new business endeavor tweeting, “I’m so happy to be working w/ @Versace for the new Campaign! What do you wanna wear this Spring?#Donatella #famiglia.”

The first few photos for the campaign has been released over the weekend and Gaga looks beautiful in a lilac, figure hugging dress draped in jewels and long blonde hair. The resemblance to Versace front woman Donatella is uncanny.
