Man Candy: Adam Levine Named ‘PEOPLE’s’ Sexiest Man Alive 2013

The rumors are true! Adam Levine is PEOPLE’s “Sexiest Man Alive” for 2013; taking the title from last year’s honoree Channing Tatum.

On The Voice, the singing front man of Maroon 5 and mentor on the singing competition show was announced as the “Sexiest Man Alive.”

He shared his excitement for being chosen stating, “As a musician, you have fantasies that you want to win Grammys, but I didn’t really think that this was on the table… I was just amazed and stunned and it almost seemed like they were kidding, but they weren’t, so that’s cool.”

In my opinion, PEOPLE usually choose men who had a busy year as the “sexiest” and 2013 has been busy for Levine. He got engaged to Victoria’s Secret model Behati Prinsloo, he launched a men’s clothing line at Kmart, along with a fragrance. And to top it off he’ll be acting in his first feature film. 2014 better watch out for Adam Levine.

Idris Elba, Luke Bryan, Jimmy Fallon, Bruno Mars, Jonathan & Drew Scott, Justin Timberlake, Chris Pine, Pharrell Williams, Ronan Farrow, Justin Theroux and David Beckham all join Adam Levine in the group of sexy men according to PEOPLE for 2013.
