Hollywood Star: Jennifer Hudson Honored With Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

Many well deserved celebs are being awarded stars on Hollywood’s infamous ‘Walk of Fame’ this year.

Mariska Hargitay, Jimmy Kimmel, Steve Harvey, Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds and Jennifer Lopez are some of the big names that earned stars in 2013 after years of excellence in their fields. Now award-winning actress and singer Jennifer Hudson has been inducted into the group of elite achievers.

On Thursday, November 14, Hudson received her star in the standard ceremony on Hollywood Boulevard joined by her fiancée, David Otunga, son and sister. Music bigwigs Clive Davis and Rafael Saadiq were also at the ceremony to congratulate Hudson.

Jennifer Hudson will soon have more to be happy about. The release of her holiday musical film “Black Nativity” will be in theaters November 27. The film has an all-star cast and is an adaptation of Langston Hughes‘ play about a young boy named Langston (Jacob Latimore) who discovers the meaning of faith, healing, and family during the holiday season. Hudson plays his mother; check out the trailer below.
