Jay Z dresses up in his best attire for the cover of Vanity Fair’s November issue and opens up about his life before becoming a successful music mogul, his wife, Beyonce and their first-born, Blue Ivy.

In the issue, Jay talked about selling crack, but never using, explaining, “Crack was everywhere — it was inescapable. There wasn’t any place you could go for isolation or a break. You go in the hallway; [there are] crackheads in the hallway. You look out in the puddles on the curbs — crack vials are littered in the side of the curbs. You could smell it in the hallways, that putrid smell; I can’t explain it, but it’s still in my mind when I think about it.” He also said he sold it as a way of surviving and improving his situation.

Jay then went on to talk about his two lovely ladies: Beyonce and Blue Ivy. “You got to dazzle… wine and dine,” Jay Z said about courting his wife of five years. The couple met back in 2001 and started their love affair then.

Now with two huge music icons as parents I bet you’re wondering who Blue is a bigger fan of. Well, the Magna Carta Holy Grail rapper wins this one in my opinion. Jay spilled, “She does like her mother’s music — she watches [Beyonce’s concerts] on the computer every night.” He also said, “She plays a song and she goes, ‘More, Daddy, more… Daddy song.’ She’s my biggest fan. If no one bought the Magna Carta, the fact that she loves it so much, it gives me the greatest joy.”

I just can’t take how cute The Carters are!
