Casting News: Dakota Johnson and Charlie Hunnam Set To Star In ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ Film

It’s official! After months of speculation we finally have our Anatasia Steele and Christian Grey for the “Fifty Shades of Grey” film.

“21 Jump Street” actress Dakota Johnson has been signed on to play Anatasia Steele and Sons of Anarchy actor Charlie Hunnam will play millionaire, sex god Christian Grey.

Author of the trilogy of books Fifty Shades of Grey, E.L. James, announced via Twitter both casting choices. She tweeted, “I am delighted to let you know that the lovely Dakota Johnson has agreed to be our Anastasia in the film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey.” She later shared the news on Christian posting, “The gorgeous and talented Charlie Hunnam will be Christian Grey in the film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey.”

Well, there we have it! Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele. The “Fifty Shades of Grey” film will be directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson and in theaters August 1, 2014. Are you satisfied with the choices as the lead characters?
