Sitting down with Carmena Ayo-Davies of 3BG Marketing Solutions is like sitting with a ball of energy. The CEO of a PR and marketing firm started her business in 2006 and has clients that span from the Philadelphia area to Los Angeles and down south. She decided to go into business for herself after she realized she had what it takes.

“I decided to go on my own in business because you know working with other companies and doing things for them and building their brand I decided I have an entrepreneur spirit and I had my first business at 21 and you know it was just something that I knew was my journey in life to start my own business.”

Carmena’s brand has since evolved into working with all the things she loves to do and things that mesh with her personality like representing boutiques, hair stores, spas and athletes. She is also expanding her name in the production business. “I just started, well not just, but a production company a year and a half ago with Kijafa Vick, which is Michael Vick’s wife, we started this production company and we’re started to produce TV shows so that is my new journey.”

Carmena concluded the interview with great advice for all aspiring entrepreneurs and even gave me some unexpected praise.
