Katy Perry Debunks Robert Pattinson Fling Rumors Once and For All in UK ‘Elle’

Katy Perry is really a stand up girl and definitely no rebound chick.

If you have eyes, I’m sure you know that while “Twilight” actors Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were together they would often hang out with Katy Perry. The threesome – pause – would celebrate birthdays together, hang out after concerts and even give the occasional bum pinch but when Robsten became nonexistent; Katy and Robbie continued to hang out leading to countless dating and fling rumors between the pals. In the September issue of UK Elle, Miss Perry is laying all those rumors to rest.

“I sent her [Stewart] a text message saying, ‘I know you’ve seen all this stuff, but you know I would never disrespect you. I’m not that person. I’m just trying to be a friend to him but it is unfortunate that I do have a set of tits,’” welp, no more Katy and Robbie rumors! I LOVE that she did that.

Katy Perry also talked about her rekindled love with John Mayer in the issue saying, “He pulled away. That was a big hello for me. I realized I could lose the person I loved and I had to deal with some things, issues I think a lot of women have. You can be strong in one aspect of your life but submissive in another.”
