Casting Controversy? Hollywood Hotties Keep Getting Cut from “Fifty Shades” Lead

Is it just me or is this the longest casting process for a movie EVER? There has been so much popularity surrounding E.L. James‘ erotic novel, Fifty Shades of Grey, so it was no surprise when it was announced that the movie was to be made. It’s so exciting for all the fans, but I’m sure they’re eager to know, who in the world will play Christian Grey?

A troubled, dominant businessman who is comparable to Adonis, Christian Grey finds love in quiet, reserved Anastasia Steele. Finding the perfect hunk to play him is not an easy feat. “TRON” star Garrett Hedlund rejected the role because he couldn’t commit to the whole trilogy and The Vampire Diaries hottie Ian Somerhalder has been nixed as well.

Could it be the roles are cursed? “The Lone Ranger” Armie Hammer said he would never do the role because of it being “mommy porn” and even Emma Watson shot down rumors that she’d be playing the lead of Steele. Hopefully, they can reconcile soon because I know that people are getting antsy for some steamy scenes!
