Kristen Bell Asks Dax Shepard For His Hand in Marriage on Twitter!

This is the cutest thing that I’ve seen in a long time. Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard have been engaged since 2010, but always said they were going to wait to get married until gay marriage was legal in the United States. Today, when the United States Supreme Court struck down DOMA, the pair finally set their plan for marriage in motion.

Bell tweeted at her fiancé after the rulings were announced, “@daxshepard1 will you marry me? Xo #marriageequality #loveislove” to which he replied, “@IMKristenBell F*** Yes!!!!!!!!!!!” He followed up with a tweet that said, “DOMA is dead. Prop 8 is dead. Now let’s bring my big, gay marriage to @IMKristenBell to Life!!!!”

The couple, who welcomed their daughter Lincoln to the world in March of this year, are of many celebrities and A-Listers who have agreed to hold on off on any wedding plans until same-sex marriage was constitutional. What a wonderful day in our country and another giant step towards progress!
