Paula Deen Fired From Food Network – Racial Slur Comments The Blame?

The queen of butter Paula Deen may have to hang up her crown; at least on The Food Network. 

If you’re confused on why Paula Deen’s contract with The Food Network isn’t getting renewed then let me give you a refresher. Mrs. Deen has come under fire for the public use of racial slurs and comments.

During a court disposition concerning a former employee’s lawsuit against Deen’s brother’s restaurant, Paula admitted to using the “n-word” along with other hurtful comments concerning different races. Paula has since apologized for the comments in not one but TWO videos but The Food Network does not want to be buried in the hole that the once fan favorite chef is digging.

Deen hosted three shows on The Food Network; Paula’s Home Cooking, Paula’s Party and Paula’s Best Dishes but they will be no more by the end of this month; enjoy them while they last.
