Kanye West is a man of few words but when he does decide to speak to the press he really shares his truest insights.
In an exclusive sit down with The New York Times, Yeezy opened up about many things including his upcoming album “Yeezus,” the MTV Video Music Awards incident with Taylor Swift and his relationship with Kim Kardashian; with whom he is expecting his first child with come next month.
In regards to the situation with Taylor Swift where he interrupted her acceptance speech in 2009 during the VMA’s he said, “I don’t have one regret. If anyone’s reading this waiting for some type of full-on, flat apology for anything, they should just stop reading right now.” Well, damn.
But Kanye was a little more lighthearted when it came to discussing his girlfriend, reality-TV star Kim Kardashian. He talked about wanting to be in a relationship and why he backed out of appearing on Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
“It’s hard when people read things in a lot of different ways. You know, the amount of backlash I got from it is when I decided to not be on the show anymore.” He added, “And it’s not that I have an issue with the show; I just have an issue with the amount of backlash that I get. Because I just see like, an amazing person that I’m in love with that I want to help.”
At least he wants to help. *Kanye shrug*
