Ciara Gets Served During LA Pride Performance

We all know Ciara can dance her butt off but during a recent performance at a LA Pride concert Ciara got served and not in the B2K kind of way.

Video from TMZ emerged of Ciara performing “Promise” in LA during Pride Festival. A young woman got Ciara’s attention by waving her hands towards her and then handed Ci a piece of paper. Ciara looked at the document and “threw it on the ground.” The unidentified woman retrieved the paper from the ground, placed it on the stage and then turned to the camera and said, “She got served, she going away,” while smiling at the camera.

Apparently Ciara is being sued by a LA nightclub, Factory, for failing to perform during a scheduled appearance. Ciara’s camp claim they notified the club she would not be able to attend beforehand and the club continued to promote her performance.

I’m sorry, this situation is just too funny to me. This is one slick way to serve someone legal documents. It reminds me very much of Dale Denton in “Pineapple Express.” I do commend Ci however for keeping the performance going.
