Amanda Bynes In Court: “I Threw A Vase, Not a Bong!”

Amanda, please! Following her arrest on Thursday night, Amanda Bynes appeared in court on Friday, May 24, where she was presented with her charges of marijuana possession, reckless endangerment and tampering with evidence (i.e. throwing her bong out the window). She was thankfully reunited with her blonde wig for court, after having to remove it for her second mug shot.

During her appearance, a disheveled Bynes explained her account to the judge, claiming that the bong “was a vase” and her lawyer emphasized that she had “never been in trouble before” (so I guess, they weren’t counting the DUI arrests and probation?). The judge let her go for the day and set a July 9 court date to follow.

I guess she got lucky for now. And of course, because she’s Amanda Bynes, she took to Twitter to say, “I only smoke tobacco I don’t drink or do drugs. I’ve never had a bong in my life! I need to get another nose job after seeing my mugshot! :D”. Well, I’m glad she’s not worried? Hopefully this is a wake up call for her! We miss the old Amanda!
