Lucy Hale Is A Country Queen on The Cover of Seventeen

We know and love her as Aria Montgomery on “Pretty Little Liars“, but Lucy Hale is much more than the broody, indie chick she plays on TV. Gracing the June cover of Seventeen magazine, Lucy opens up about her forthcoming country music career and gets into the nitty-gritty of her new album.

Donning more bright and sunny looks, the 23-year-old gushes about her love for music and speaks about how a country album is always something she really wanted. She claims that people are either going to “love it or hate it” but hopes that her passion for music will show through and win over audiences. Kristian Bush from country group Sugarland helped her write some songs and she compares her sound to “sassy Miranda Lambert” with some T-Swizzle aspects.

She gets into more personal stuff in the interview, discussing her struggle with an eating disorder and a bad break-up last year.
