Shakira On Son’s Birth: I Looked Like a Shar-Pei

We all know Shakira‘s hip’s don’t lie, so why would she lie about the details of her childbirth? She sat down with Ellen DeGeneres on Friday to talk about the birth of her son, Milan, with Spanish soccer star, Gerard Pique. The Colombian crooner said that childbirth isn’t the most beautiful thing in the world.

She joked saying, “don’t expect that he is going to be rosy cheeks, cherub when he is born. Actually, when I saw mine, I was like, ‘Oh my God, he’s all purple and wrinkled! What is this?” She further went on to say she was worried about feeling sexy again, noting that she looked like a Shar-Pei after the birth. I don’t think that’s possible! She’s gorgeous.

It’s clear that the new mom has still got it though. This past week on The Voice, her and fellow mentor Blake Shelton, performed an amazing rendition of Lady Antebellum’s “Need You Now” for the show’s middle performance. I don’t think she should worry about if her man will still think she’s hot! I mean, look at her!
