Say It Isn’t So: Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder Have Split After Three Years

Say it isn’t so! One of Hollywood’s it couple have called it quits.

Us Weekly exclusively learned Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder, who play Elena Gilbert and Damon Salvatore on the CW’s Vampire Diaries, have split after three years of dating.

Ian and Nina went public with their relationship back in 2011 and have been seen basically everywhere together outside of work. These two were never shy to display PDA and show complete admiration towards one another.

Since the two ARE currently co-stars on Vampire Diaries the question in the air is how will these two continue to work together? An insider says the two are “consummate professionals” and “will continue to work together and remain best friends, which is where the relationship started.” Reps for Ian and Nina have not commented on the split.
