Pop/Punk band Fall Out Boy plans to have an exciting 2013 since the band reunited this year and put out an album. Upon announcing getting back together, the boys have been performing at a number venues. A good friend of mine, Margaret from It’s All Mayhem, attended an intimate FOB interview/performance and gave GGB the exclusive inside deets! Check them out below!

When I received a message from my friend Amber about one of my all time favorite bands Fall Out Boy playing an upcoming show in New York City I flipped! I immediately stopped everything I was doing and took a breath. Fall Out Boy is one of the two bands (Good Charlotte being the first) that made my horrible high schools years bearable. As soon as I knew how to obtain my ticket to this very exclusive show taping at Fuse studios I signed up. After all it had been 8 years since I had seen them at their Black Clouds & Underdogs tour.

Once Fuse contacted me with the “Congrats!” that I would be attending the taping; I freaked. Fast forward to Monday, April 15, the day of the show, my friend Brittany and I headed into the city and got to the studios at a decent time to claim our front row spots! The thing I love about Fall Out Boy is that they’re not your typical rock stars. They are some of the most down to Earth individuals you’ll ever meet. I have spent much time with them in the past and know how they are.

During the interview, the guys discussed their 4 years hiatus (which had fans like me itching for a comeback from these rockers). The guys also talked about the discrete and very top-secret process of making the album “Save Rock And Roll,” now available on iTunes and in stores everywhere.

After the interview all of us at Fuse studios were treated to an amazing 2-song performance from the band. First up, the guys performed their latest single “My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark ( Light Em Up)”. The guys rocked the stage hard-core and had us all screaming the lyrics and jumping like it was 2005. Next up, they performed an old classic and fan favorite “Saturday”.

Following the performance the guys greeted us all and Patrick Stump gave me the biggest high-five as I complimented him on a job well done on the performance. Then the guys quickly finished up part deux of their interview segment. I was very excited because my friend and I got plenty of camera time and onscreen time with Fall Out Boy. SCORE!.

As soon as it came, it went and the guys exited the studio, but not before greeting us all one last time and saying goodbye. It’s always a special treat when I get to see Fall Out Boy and I owe it all to my great friend Amber who made this all happen!

Fall Out Boy’s latest album “Save Rock And Roll” is now available on iTunes and in stores everywhere. Check out FOB performing “Saturday” from the Fuse’s Trending 10 below.
