Trailer Thursday: Man of Steel

I’m not the biggest fan of super hero films; I prefer my Marvel characters (CC: X-Men) versus DC Comics but anything with Henry Cavill in it has my immediate attention!

This week’s Trailer Thursday features Henry Cavill’s leading role in “Man Of Steel.” The film depicts the classic tale of the origins of Superman and how he became to be a hero on Earth.

In the trailer, we see Clark Kent (Cavill) being sent to Earth as a baby by his father Jor-El (Russell Crowe) in an attempt to be a god for humans on that planet. As a child Clark begins to notice that he is different from other children and he has gifts beyond his wildest imagination. At first Clark tries to avoid his destiny but soon embraces his purpose to protect mankind as the man of steel.

The film also features Amy Adams, Kevin Costner and Michael Shannon.

“Man Of Steel” will be in theaters this summer, June 14. Check out the action packed trailer below!
