The wait for a new Finding Nemo is finally over. Disney and Pixar will debut the sequel, Finding Dory on Nov. 25, 2015.
The follow-up to the 2003 hit will be directed by Andrew Stanton, and is set on the California Coast. It centers around Dory the Regal Blue Tang, who is known for her forgetfulness.
Dory is voiced by Ellen Degeneres, who believes the movie is long over due. “I have waited for this day for a long, long, long, long, long, long time,” she said in a statement .”I’m not mad it took this long. I know the people at Pixar were busy creating, but the time they took was worth it. The script is fantastic. And it has everything I loved about the first one: It’s got a lot of heart, it’s really funny, and the best part is—it’s got a lot more Dory.”
Don’t fret, familiar characters such as Marlin and Nemo will also be returning.
