On Monday morning, April 1, Chris Brown made an appearance on The Today Show to discuss his upcoming album and the 2009 assault on “Diamonds” singer Rihanna with Matt Lauer.
During the 5 minute plus interview, Chris really didn’t hold anything back and was completely honest about a number of things. Chris talked about his album and the process he took with creating new music but the really interesting moments came when Matt asked about Chris’ erratic behavior and personal relationship.
When asked how his assault felony Chris said, “I’ve been humbled by the whole experience — from me losing everything to having to regain public opinion but most importantly, knowing that what I did was totally wrong and having to kind of deal with it myself and forgive myself in the same breath.”
As far as Rihanna and Chris Brown being a couple again; Chris coyly said, “Yea, everything is fine… As far as me and her are concerned, she knows my heart and I know her heart. So I’m not really focused on the negative,” although does that really mean they are “together?”
Do you think Chris Brown will finally redeem himself in the public eye now? I mean he is pretty charming in this interview; I think he got me Glamberous Ones.
